Volunteer for Valborg 2025 at Frihamnstorget!

At the heart of our Valborg celebration are the volunteers—our event’s real heroes. These dedicated individuals are the first faces visitors see and play an essential role in bringing the magic of Valborg to life. Ready to join us?

Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Hosting audience/ticket sales

  • Kids workshops

  • Food/Market 

  • Set up and material maintenance

  • Tear-down

  • Marketing/social media

Most volunteers help with checking tickets, answering questions, assisting with food preparation and sales, setting up and dismantling stages, supporting children's and artists’ activities, or documenting this awesome event!

During your volunteering, you will receive a voucher for a drink and for food. We ask all volunteers to be flexible and ready to lend a hand wherever needed—festival life is full of surprises! We’re a tight-knit, creative team, and the event is going to be full of laughter and artistic moments. No experience? No problem! Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to it all, your enthusiasm is what matters most.

We have three shifts (13:00-16:00 / 16:00-19:00 / 19:00-22:00), and as a volunteer you will get 1-2 shifts depending on your interests. You can participate in one field or in multiple! The festival takes place from 15:00 to 21:00h on the 30th April, and the volunteering team will start from 13:00. 

Timeline : 

  • Registration is open until the 6th of April

  • Volunteers will be accepted on a rolling basis

  • The week of the 7th of April you will receive your assigned shifts and be added to a WhatsApp group

  • One week before the event we will have an on-site fika together in order to meet each other, get an introduction to the space, and ask questions! If you can’t make it, we can arrange an online fika

  • The day of the event we will all meet at 13:00h for a briefing. All volunteers need to be present at this time!
