During 2023 Frihamnens Kulturförening have grown extensively both in terms of operations and finances. The association has carried out a series of projects ranging from everything from co-created cultural program, urban cultivation, development of Frihamnstorget, coaching of young people‘s own cultural projects, concert series, circus performances, outdoor cinema and gallery and was a project partner in a larger Vinnova-based project for system innovation and urban development with Blivande as the lead.

During 2023, Frihamnens Kulturförening has established itself as a medium-sized cultural actor in Stockholm and has arm in arm with the cultural center Blivande arranged a large number of program points in the majority of artistic fields. Often with a unique focus on participant culture and community. We have worked actively in the local area and the district to become a gathering hub, but also with cutting edge and quality with niche arrangements and international guest performances that have attracted visitors from all over Greater Stockholm. Relationships have been built, contacts made and collaborations initiated with a number of organizations and organizers in Stockholm but also with European organizations and networks.
