Introduction

This policy sets out how we collect, process and hold your personal data if you visit our event ticket shop or otherwise provide personal data to us. We are Frihamnstorgets kulturförening, org. no. 802531-8638, of Frihamnsgatan 15, 115 56 Stockholm, Sweden. We are the data controller of your personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swedish Data Protection Act (2018:218). If you have any questions, please contact us at Sofia@frihamnstorget.se.

Personal data we collect

When you book a ticket or buy any associated products and services, we collect your name, address and email address together with payment information. We may also collect personal data that you give us about other people if you register them to attend an event. Please make sure that they are aware of this policy before you provide their details.

Please provide personal data that is true, complete and accurate. If we suspect or identify fraud, we will record this.

You do not need to provide any personal data to view our event ticket shop. However, we may still collect the information described under "Data we automatically collect".

When you contact us by email, post or telephone, we may keep a record of the correspondence.

Data we automatically collect

When you visit our event ticket shop, we, or third parties on our behalf, may collect information about your device and your activities. This could include (a) your device's unique ID number; (b) technical information such as type of device, web browser or operating system; (c) preferences and settings such as time zone and language; and (d) statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns.

Strictly necessary information is collected so that the ticket shop works. All other information, including information used for analytics and advertising, is only collected if you have given your consent, as described in the Cookies section.

Marketing communications

If you opt in to receive marketing communications from us, we process your data on the basis of your consent to send you such communications, which may include newsletters, surveys and information about new events. We retain a record of your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at Sofia@frihamnstorget.se or clicking unsubscribe in a marketing email. We will act on your request without undue delay.

Legal bases for processing your personal data

Performance of a contract. We use your personal data to supply your tickets and any associated products and services, to contact you with information about the event or your purchases, and to deal with questions, comments or complaints.

Legal obligation. We process personal data where required by law, for example to keep accounting records under the Swedish Accounting Act (bokföringslagen 1999:1078).

Legitimate interests. We may process your personal data for customer service, to enforce agreements between us, to prevent fraud, to establish or defend legal claims and to contact you about changes to this policy. You have the right to object to this processing.

Consent. We rely on your consent for marketing communications and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who do we share your data with?

We may share your personal data with service providers that perform functions on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions, including payment providers, our event ticketing provider (Ticket Tailor), email communication providers, IT service providers, accountants, auditors and legal advisers.

If you have consented to marketing cookies, data about your visit and purchase may be shared with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. for advertising measurement and targeting.

We may also disclose personal data where we are required to do so by law or by a decision of a public authority, or in connection with a merger or restructuring of our organisation.

Where we hold and process your personal data

We aim to process your personal data within the EU/EEA. Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the EU/EEA. In that case, the transfer is based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission or on other appropriate safeguards, such as the Commission's standard contractual clauses. Contact us if you would like more information about the safeguards we use.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. In accordance with the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (2022:482), we only use cookies that are not strictly necessary if you have given your consent.

Necessary cookies make the ticket shop work, for example by remembering your basket, and do not require consent.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand how the ticket shop is used, such as number of visits and which pages are viewed.

Marketing cookies (the Meta pixel) let us measure the effect of our advertising and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.

You choose which cookies to accept in the cookie banner when you first visit the ticket shop. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at Sofia@frihamnstorget.se.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. Payment transactions are encrypted.

If you have a password for an account with us, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. No system can be completely secure, but if a personal data breach occurs we will handle it in accordance with the GDPR, including notifying the supervisory authority and affected individuals where required.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise your rights, contact us at Sofia@frihamnstorget.se. We will respond within one month.

Exercising your rights is free of charge. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable administrative fee or refuse the request.

If you are unhappy with how we process your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), see www.imy.se.

Links to other websites

Our event ticket shop may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the protection and privacy of information you provide on such sites, which are not governed by this policy.

Retention

If you register an account with us, we retain your personal data until you close your account.

If you receive marketing communications from us, we retain your personal data for that purpose until you unsubscribe.

If you have booked a ticket or contacted us, we retain your personal data for 6 months after the event or the contact in order to respond to further queries. Information that forms part of our accounting records, such as purchase and payment details, is retained for seven years after the end of the calendar year in which the financial year ended, as required by the Swedish Accounting Act.

General

If any provision of this policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

This policy is governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be settled by the Swedish courts. This does not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer or data protection law.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. The current version is always available in our event ticket shop, and we will inform you of significant changes.
