Frihamnstorget har varje år residenskonstnärer inom olika konstfält. Syftet är att erbjuda en plats, ett sammanhang och gemenskap som för konstnärlig utveckling framåt.
Every year, Frihamnstorget hosts artists-in-residence from various fields of art. The aim is to provide a place, a context and a community that promotes artistic development.
Cirkusresidens i blackbox / Circus residency in black box
Residenset riktar sig till cirkusartister och cirkuskompanier som är /

där residensperioden på Frihamnstorget kan bidra till ökad lust och engagemang i det egna konstnärliga skapandet.

Det som ingår /
What's included :
Residensperioderna är i regel två veckor långa men kan anpassas i viss mån beroende på hur ert behov ser ut och vilka möjligheter som finns till att samnyttja ytan med andra aktörer. Det finns fem residensperioder varje år som förläggs löpande under året. Residenstagaren erbjuds tillgång till lokal om 12x25 m med 6m takhöjd. Med intäckningar och riggpunkter för cirkus.
Inför residenset erbjuds teknisk planeringssupport och viss teknisk support under residenset. De tekniska förutsättningar som finns i lokalen är de som ingår i residenset. Såsom tillgång till en Soundbox och enkelt ljudsystem, pusselmattor, finns det andra specifika behov så kan detta gå att lösa tillsammans med residenskoordinator. Ni har även tillgång till omklädningsrum med dusch, toalett och en gemensamyta med pentry/kök.
Residency periods are usually two weeks long but can be adjusted to some extent depending on your needs and the possibilities for sharing the space with other artists. There are five residency periods each year, which are scheduled on a rolling basis throughout the year. Residents are offered access to a 12x25 m space with a 6 m ceiling height. With rigging points and rigging equipment for circus.
Technical planning support is offered prior to the residency, and some technical support is available during the residency. The technical conditions in the premises are those included in the residency. These include access to a soundbox and simple sound system, puzzle mats, etc. If you have other specific needs, these can be resolved together with the residency coordinator. You also have access to a changing room with shower, toilet and a common area with kitchenette/kitchen.

Public viewing :
Under sista veckan av residensperioden förväntas residenstagaren genomföra en work in progress visning för allmänheten inklusive samtal med det konstnärliga teamet. Alternativt annan form av masterclass eller liknande enligt överenskommelse.
During the final week of the residency period, the resident is expected to hold a work-in-progress viewing for the public, including discussions with the artistic team. Alternatively, another form of masterclass or similar may be arranged by agreement.

intresserade av att utveckla platsspecifika verk i utomhusmiljö bland ombyggda fraktcontainrar
intresserade av korsbefruktningar med andra konstformer
intresserade av experimentell utveckling av den egna konstformen
där residensperioden på Frihamnstorget kan bidra till ökad lust och engagemang i det egna konstnärliga skapandet.

What's included :
Residensen är på två-fyra veckor beroende på hur ert behov ser ut och förläggs i tre perioder per år, en under våren, en under sommaren och en under hösten. Residenstagaren erbjuds tillgång till alla utomhusytor i containermiljön enligt överenskommelse med residenskoordinator.
Inför residenset erbjuds teknisk planeringssupport och viss teknisk support under residenset. De tekniska förutsättningar som finns på platsen är de som ingår i residenset. Väderskyddad yta under stretchtält med 6 m takhöjd. Tillgång till en Soundbox och enkelt ljudsystem, pusselmattor, finns det andra specifika behov så kan detta gå att lösa tillsammans med residenskoordinator. Ni har även tillgång till mötesrum, dusch, toalett och ett mindre kök.
The residency lasts two to four weeks, depending on your needs, and is organised in three periods per year: one in the spring, one in the summer and one in the autumn. Residency participants are offered access to all outdoor areas in the container environment, as agreed with the residency coordinator.
Technical planning support is offered prior to the residency, and some technical support is available during the residency. The technical conditions available on site are those included in the residency. Weather-protected area under a stretch tent with a 6 m ceiling height. Access to a soundbox and simple sound system, puzzle mats. If you have other specific needs, these can be resolved together with the residency coordinator. You also have access to a meeting room, shower, toilet and a small kitchen.
