Artist for Valborg Festival 2026 at Frihamnstorget!

If the volunteers are the heart of the festival, the artists who shape it are its soul. At Frihamnstorget, we’re looking for artists from all disciplines to bring our shipping containers to life and make the festival a truly complete experience. Valborg is coming to Frihamnstorget with a mix of culture, fire and urban art. Want to be right at the heart of the action? Join the crew right here!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

For the city’s most prolific artists, we will be offering two distinct spaces in which to exhibit their work during the event:

• Gallery Exhibition: A space dedicated to a small gallery within one of our shipping containers. Paintings, photographs and even sculptures are welcome in this small artistic haven.

• Immersive Experience: A small-scale space designed for immersive art experiences, providing a platform for the most daring and experimental projects in audiovisual arts and pushing the boundaries of imagination within this space.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

During your exhibition, you will have a lunch or dinner voucher, constant access to fika, and a place to rest.

Bring a friend for free! They won’t have to pay for general entrance!

You will be added to a WhatsApp Community to get in contact with other artists!

We can give a recommendation letter if you would also like this.

TIMELINE?

Apply by Thursday the 16th of April at 23:59h

Artists will be accepted in order of registration and based on the technical characteristics of their works.
