I februari har Kompani Giraff residens hos Frihamnstorget med produktionen The Pile som de samproducerar med Dansens Hus. Under residensperioden så kommer verket färdigställas inför premiären i mars. De kommer använda Blackbox och även ha tillgång till utrymme för produktion av scenografi och kostym. Verket återkommer sedan för en spelperiod på Frihamnstorget i april.
In February, Kompani Giraff will be in residence at Frihamnstorget with the production The Pile, which they are co-producing with Dansens Hus. During the residency period, the work will be completed ahead of its premiere in March. They will use Blackbox and also have access to space for the production of set design and costumes. The work will then return for a run at Frihamnstorget in April.
I januari och februari har Tom Brand från Svalbard Company residens hos Frihamnstorget med produktionen Amphi. En immersiv performance installation kring VAL. Under residensperioden så kommer Tom färdigställas verket inför premiär på CirkusMania. Residenset sker inomhus i Blackbox och har tillgång till övriga gemenskapsutrymmen och omklädningsrum.
In January and February, Tom Brand from Svalbard Company will be in residence at Frihamnstorget with the production Amphi. An immersive performance installation about VAL. During the residency period, Tom will complete the work ahead of its premiere at CirkusMania. The residency will take place indoors in Blackbox and will have access to other communal areas and changing rooms.

Prolog / Blauwal Company
Residensperiod under juni 2026 för utveckling av verket Prolog. Residenset utgår från containermiljön på Frihamnstorget och gör platsspecifika utforskningar för att leda till ett nytt verk. Blauwal Company fokuserar på disciplinen språngbräda, en disciplin som har strikta begränsningar vad gäller takhöjd, underlag, regn och ljus. Projektet Prolog vill utforska vägar för att bryta mot detta för att ta disciplinen utomhus till de buckliga gatorna och platsspecifika miljöer.
Residency period in June 2026 for the development of the work Prolog. The residency is based in the container environment at Frihamnstorget and involves site-specific explorations leading to a new work. Blauwal Company focuses on the discipline of springboard, a discipline that has strict limitations in terms of ceiling height, surface, rain and light. The Prolog project aims to explore ways to break with this in order to take the discipline outdoors to the bumpy streets and site-specific environments.

Cirkus
platån
Inspirerat av hur cirkusen historiskt sett reste från stad till stad, ”tog över” utrymmen och bjöd in publiken till sitt fantasifulla universum, utgår detta projekt från frågan om hur cirkusen i vår tid ”kommer till stan”. Cirkusplatån är en ambulerande scen, en struktur som kombinerar arkitektur, konst och lek. Under hösten kommer denna cirkusstruktur till Frihamnstorget för en period av konstnärligt utforskande och konstnärligt innehåll inför en ny föreställning i strukturen.
Inspired by how circuses historically travelled from town to town, ‘taking over’ spaces and inviting audiences into their imaginative universe, this project explores the question of how circuses ‘come to town’ in our time. The Cirkusplatån is a travelling stage, a structure that combines architecture, art and play. During the autumn, this circus structure will come to Frihamnstorget for a period of artistic exploration and artistic content ahead of a new performance in the structure.

Living Layers / Below Zero
Living Layers av Below Zero är ett audiovisuellt cirkusverk där cirkusdisciplinerna dansakrobatik, lindans, parakrobatik och cyr wheel möts med videokonst och livemusik i en surrealistisk saga om livet, minnen och spöken. Hösten 2026 kommer de till Frihamnstorget för residens i Blackbox.
Living Layers by Below Zero is an audiovisual circus performance where circus disciplines such as dance acrobatics, tightrope walking, partner acrobatics and cyr wheel meet video art and live music in a surreal fairy tale about life, memories and ghosts. In autumn 2026, they will come to Frihamnstorget for a residency at Blackbox.

Concrete Jungle

Under tidig höst 2026 kommer Simon Granit Ossoinak till Frihamnstorget för en platsspecifik utforskning och work in progress visning av projektet Concrete Jungle. Vi ser framför oss en hybrid där den urbana containermiljön möter projektets parkourstruktur i ett uppträdande. Material från Concrete Jungle vävs ihop med unikt material och scener skapade utifrån Frihamnstorgets miljö och testas inför provpublik.
In early autumn 2026, Simon Granit Ossoinak will come to Frihamnstorget for a site-specific exploration and work-in-progress presentation of the Concrete Jungle project. We envision a hybrid where the urban container environment meets the project's parkour structure in a performance. Material from Concrete Jungle is woven together with unique material and scenes created based on the Frihamnstorget environment and tested in front of a trial audience.

Residensperiod i containermiljön för att utveckla ett nytt sceniskt projekt. Efter studier och arbete utomlands söker sig kompaniet tillbaka till Sverige med vilja att etablera sin bas här. Det fysiska uttrycket kombinerar akrobatik, dans och teater.
Residency period in the container environment to develop a new stage project. After studying and working abroad, the company is returning to Sweden with the intention of establishing its base here. The physical expression combines acrobatics, dance and theatre.
