Hijas del Bosque
Deep in the mushroom-rich forests of Mexico, two women from indigenous communities have become mycologists. The documentary follows their unusual paths, driven by the world of mushrooms, in an attempt to reconcile the past with the present and at the same time imagine a new future – both for themselves and for the changing world they live in.
